গল্পটা শুরু হয় South Korea-তে কিছু mysterious murders দিয়ে। একজন serial killer random লোকজনকে target করছে — খুব brutal, sudden attack, কোনো clear motive নাই।

Enter gangster Jang Dong-soo (played by Ma Dong-seok — yes, the beast 💪)।

সে একজন powerful crime boss, যার এলাকায় সবকিছু control-এ থাকে।

এক রাতে সে নিজেই ওই serial killer-এর attack-এর শিকার হয় — but unlike others, সে survive করে। এখান থেকেই game change।

Meanwhile, detective Jung Tae-seok (Kim Mu-yeol) এই case নিয়ে obsessed। সে জানে এটা normal murder না — এটা serial killer।
